EP. 79: 21.filmPOLSKA : Polish cinema at your Berlin doorstep – in conversation with director of filmPOLSKA, Bartek Tesarz.

Bartek – a cinephile, film scholar and film curator shares his daily routine as the main organiser of the largest festival of Polish cinema outside Poland.

You will receive insider recommendations for the 21st edition of the festival, featuring a unique selection of competition films, as well as a rich retrospective programme devoted to the 2026 cultural patron, Andrzej Wajda.

filmPOLSKA is a festival organised yearly by the Polish Institute in Berlin. The 21st edition takes place from 9th till 16th of September in various cinemas in Berlin and Potsdam.
