OPENING: Studies on Hysteria

Solo exhibition by Ivan Moudov

In his exhibition “Studies on Hysteria”, artist Ivan Moudov carries out interventions in the urban environment around POSTA SPACE and PUNTA Gallery. The works deal with the topic of power structures, manifested in architectural elements. Moudov refers to existing elements of public restriction as a critical look at monumental sculpture in public environment. However, his choice of means of expression leads the curator to question the artist’s subconscious motivations that led to the sublimation of the respective works. Therefore, Ivan Moudov was (voluntarily!) subjected to a deeper examination through a series of psychoanalytic sessions. The result of this process will be additionally presented in a publication, accompanying the exhibition.
