Garage Gallery
Garage Gallery is a contemporary space for exhibitions, artist studios and artist in residence programs. Founded in Prague’s Karlín district in 2018, we have been presenting projects by both emerging and established artists. We strive to nurture all contemporary forms of expression and to bring together local and international artists. Our gallery space is an open platform for interdisciplinary exhibitions along with events such as lectures, workshops and readings.
Since 2018 Garage Gallery has been hosting an international residency for artists and curators who prepare a final presentation of their work together with the exhibition after the residency. We provide the selected residents with accommodation and partial funding for their work so that they can fully commit to their planned project. By inviting international artists, we aim to create a meaningful exchange of experiences and creative perspectives.
