PART TIME GALLERY

PART TIME GALLERY is new, non-commercial gallery in Tallinas Street 94, Riga, managed by artists and founders of the association “Neatlaidība” Liene and Oskars Pavlovski. Its title – Part Time – is both a multi-faceted metaphor and a play of words, as well as a direct reference to the economic uncertainty faced by artists of different generations.

It is also an indication of the gallery’s focus – coexistence of visual art, design and architecture in the same space. Liene Pavlovska says that Part Time is conceived both as a space and a meeting place with the viewer, serving as a platform for the practice of art, design and architecture, which is based on practical and theoretical research and which responds perceptibly to the local context – in Riga, Latvia and the wider region of Northern and Eastern Europe.
