EXHIBITION: BARA MRAZKOVA: CHARGE FLIPPING
What happens to a mineral when its value begins to be shaped by expectations of the future?
Bára Mrázková: Charge Flipping
OPENING: 13/11/2026, 18.00
Bára Mrázková’s solo exhibition explores how mineral materials are transformed into scientifically measurable and economically tradable values. The audiovisual essay and immersive installation reveal how the complexity of natural materials is translated into data and parameters that determine their significance for present and future technologies. The exhibition examines how minerals are represented and presented to the market, while also exploring how their material origins and broader ecological, economic, and geopolitical contexts become obscured in the process. It raises the question of how the value of minerals is shaped not only by their physical properties, but also by technological needs and visions of the future.
