OPEN CALL: Participation in the Integration Lab project
We invite you to participate in the Integration Lab project realized simultaneously by the “Sunflower” Solidary Community Center / Museum of Modern Art (Warsaw, Poland) and Artsvit Gallery (Dnipro, Ukraine).
The Lab is a three months (March-June 2024) program of meetings, training sessions and workshops for young artists with an experience of war and displacement. The Lab is established to offer a shared space for action and reflection as well as integration into new communities. It will give emerging artists and creators an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of art, performative activities, and collective practice.
The Lab program will conclude with a common event realized in the frame of the public program accompanying the exhibition “TIGER IN THE GARDEN. ART BY MARIA PRYMACHENKO” at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw in June 2024.
FOR WHOM: emerging visual artists, performers, creatives, and cultural workers with experience of war and displacement, living in Warsaw and Dnipro. Knowledge of English at a communicative level is required to participate in the program. In each city the group of participants will consist of 5 people selected in an open call procedure.
WHERE: Artsvit Gallery (Dnipro, Ukraine) and “Sunflower” Solidary Community Center (Warsaw, Poland)
WHEN: The Lab program will run from the end of March to the end of June 2024. Between March and June the participants will take part in 10 online and offline meetings, lectures and workshops with invited experts. All of the meetings will take place on weekends.
During the last week of the Lab program, the participants will focus on practical activities, working on the collective performative action that will conclude the project.
Participation in the Integration Lab program is free of charge.
