PERFORMANCE: RAUL WALCH & GAMBIT. MOVING TOGETHER IN TIME

Location: Terrace of the Neue Nationalgalerie

The performance moving together in time by artist Raul Walch is created in collaboration with young people from Berlin. Together, they design short choreographies that deal with locations in the former East and West Berlin. The work focuses on urban processes of change and the question of how urban spaces can be used and designed. How do the participants inscribe themselves into their surroundings, how do they use and interpret these places?

The first part of the performance was realized in a workshop with children from the neighboring Koppenplatz Elementary School as part of the exhibition DISLOCATIONS—on the spot at Kunst Raum Mitte. The second part will follow at the Festival of Future Nows 2025 in the outdoor space of the Neue Nationalgalerie, choreographed and performed by the dance group Gambit.
