EVENT: White Night in Košice

White Night is a prestigious international art project with a mission to bring contemporary art forms as well as non-traditional, unknown and important places of European capitals closer to the general public.

At the turn of September and October, well-known and lesser-known places in Bratislava will be filled with art, people and a magical atmosphere. White Night will be a sensory-enchanting walk through the capital, which will enliven the city’s architecture with works by well-known Slovak and foreign artists over the course of three days. Participants will discover interesting urban places in public space, as well as well-known or lesser-known interiors.

White Night was created in Paris in 2002. In 2013, more than two and a half million people visited it. From Paris, the project spread over several years to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Santa Monica, Montreal, Toronto, Rome, Tel Aviv, Gaza, Jerusalem, Madrid, Brussels, Riga, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Brighton, Turin, Naples, St. Petersburg, Košice and Bratislava.
